Had a very enjoyable weekend here! The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us, even offering to take us to a nearby attraction. The traditional rooms were clean and comfortable, and the meals provided were delicious and well-prepared. Plus, the location was great - we were able to explore some interesting local shops and visit a beautiful temple just a short walk away.
That the onsen was smaller than we expected and only indoors. while the staff were wonderful, the room we were in did have a slight smoky odor.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in many aspects. the attention to detail was impressive, with the staff personally showing us the location of the free dryers and washing machines, despite them being a bit difficult to access at night. Secondly, the location was superb, nestled in a mountainous region with interesting street shops nearby and a short walk away from a stunning Hase temple. Lastly, the service was exceptional, with the kind old lady serving us tea and explaining everything upon our arrival, and the staff providing stellar work during dinner and breakfast.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was satisfactory in every way.

the location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. We also appreciated the nice selection of amenities offered, which helped make our Christmas stay more enjoyable.
The smoking policy was a major downside. the rooms reeked of smoke, regardless of our requests for non-smoking accommodations.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, from offering to take me to the nearby temple for a morning service to providing excellent service throughout my visit. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with the bedding already prepared upon arrival. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were exquisite, showcasing a variety of traditional dishes. One standout feature was the massage chair, which provided a truly divine experience.
No areas for improvement, everything was satisfactory.
